There is now constant pressure for food producers to reduce salt; sugar and fat levels in food. Whilst this is great for creating healthy products, there can be a detrimental impact on taste. We invented "Dynataste" to assist clients in the formulation of the healthy alternatives. This device can deliver specific taste and aroma compounds to panellists in a specific way e.g. delivering short bursts of salt and assessing the affect on panellists perception. If we can understand how to deliver lower amounts of unhealthy ingredients we can help reformulate the product to deliver in the same way. In this way we minimise the unhealthy ingredients and maximise flavour.
