We have three MS-Nose machines available, One is used to correlate in-nose odour concentrations with sensory perception. Another is used in the laboratory for both sensory and release measurements. A third machine is based on a ThermoFinnigan Deca XP Ion Trap MS with a custom built gas phase API interface. The PTR-TOF-MS is currently undergoing trials to establish its potential uses.
